Victor Reyes arrived in San Francisco by way of Los Angeles during the summer of 1998. He established himself as an early member of the Mission mural art community through an expansive public art project that has since expanded to cities around the world.

In the studio his own language of mark making developed, forming recognition through many different styles and mediums.

Victor Reyes has a unique approach to visual art, often drawing free hand while using molds or stencils to fill a region with a transparencies that create a multiplicity of values, obscuring layers over and under, creating a kaleidoscope of imagery.
