Giada De Laurentiis is an American chef, author, and television personality of Italian descent. She was the host of Food Network’s “Giada at Home.” De Laurentiis also contributes to and co-hosts NBC’s Today show on a regular basis.

De Laurentiis is also the founder of GDL Foods, a catering company, and a Daytime Emmy Award winner for Outstanding Lifestyle Host and a Gracie Award winner for Best Television Host.

She was born and raised in Rome, Italy.
