    Rory Cochrane Biography

    Rory Cochrane is an American actor born in Syracuse, New York, to an Irish father and an Indian immigrant mother.

    He grew up in Granchester, England, near Cambridge, and later returned to New York as a teenager. Cochrane attended the Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts in Manhattan, where he began studying acting.

    Early Career

    While still a student, Cochrane had his first on-screen experience in a segment of the show "Saturday Night with Connie Chung" dedicated to drug abuse.

    He also played a small role in an episode of the short-lived ABC series "H.E.L.P.".

    Breakthrough Roles

    Cochrane made his feature film debut in 1991 in James Dearden's "A Kiss before Dying". A year later, he landed his first major role in "Fathers
