Ghobad Shiva is an Iranian graphic designer and typographer born in 1940 in Hamedan, Iran.

  • Graduated in the field of graphics in the studio of Professor Ghobad Shiva, Graphic activity started in 2007, Graphic designer of the Computer Games Foundation.
  • Over several decades he has created a form of graphic design with a Persian flavour, which has attracted museums and collectors across the world. He set up Iranian TV’s graphics department (1968) and the Soroush Press design department (1971), and is co-founder of the Iranian Graphic Designers Society (IGDS).

    He has been teaching and lecturing in eminent art and design faculties in Tehran since 1976. His awards include: Brno Graphic Design Biennale (1978); Shiraz Festival of Arts Poster Competitions (1969, 1970, 1971, 1977); IGDS logo competition (1988, 2001).
